National Youth Assembly Pakistan

We feel excited to announce that President National Youth Assembly, Hanan Ali Abbasi , has been selected for the highest official youth award from 36 countries “Commonwealth Youth Award”. Only 16 Young achievers were nominated from more than 36 countries across the Commonwealth for the awards, which are run by the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Youth Affairs Division. The youth of Pakistan is very proud of him and thankful to him for depicting the positive picture of Pakistan internationally.
The National Youth Assembly Pakistan is a model parliament for talented young Pakistani from diverse backgrounds, collaborating one another to imagine what they would do if they were the members of the parliament. The NYA is one of the leading, self-dependent forums of the country, which has brought together future leaders from more than 120 Districts of the country and also provides the opportunity to learn about politics, democracy, social work and parliamentary system in a best learning environment. Every member of the NYA has the chance to write model legislation, add input during meetings, or participate in youth-related activities.
Personalities of international fame, like, Malala Yousafzai, nominee for international child peace prize; Amir Atlas Khan, an international squash player, Ibrahim Shahid (world record holder with 23 A’s in O levels) and many other national/international youth achievers are now part of our organization. We are also operating in the country with our four Youth Governors; who monitor and coordinate the provincial activities of NYA.
The National Youth Assembly is also registered body under the Laws of the Government of Pakistan, and is an independent charity, established in 2011 to build a brighter future for young people.
The NYA has successfully established working relationship with credible international youth organizations, also with Punjab Assembly, Capital Development Authority and Youth Ministry of KPK province on some mutual projects/campaigns.  We are providing opportunities to gain practical experience in leadership, while exploring parliamentary procedure, self-reliance, and responsible global citizenship. The discussion in the NYA is not only help the young members in their personal development but also help to articulate the views of youth relevant to the national/international issues. We place young people in the roles of Members of Parliament, guiding them to work with peers and their communities to develop new Legislative ideas.
The National Youth Assembly is a young people’s parliament, designed by youth and led by youth for the benefit of youth; working along with an advisory board comprised of most experienced parliamentarian, bureaucrats, and other prominent figures.  Our Youth Ambassadors are also representing Pakistani youth in various countries; like, the USA, UK, France, Sweden, KSA,Canada, Afghanistan, etc.
